Cross-country skiing
The Mezzana - Pellizzano circuit
The cross-country ski track of Mezzana unfolds over six kilometers, which pass through both the town of Mezzana and that of Pellizzano.
In the first section, for about150 meters, the track borders the Noce river, passing through typical and characteristics farmsteads, such as the “Volp farmstead” and the “Redolfi farmstead”, from which it commences a brief descent that leads to a plain called “Pont delle Caore”.
After a brief ascent, we pass through the area of Pellizzano, where the track remains virtually level for the entire crossing close to the Noce river. The slightly more demanding part of the course starts around the fourth kilometer with limited differences in height, moderate ascents and descents, then arriving at a series of hairpin bends and returning to the point of departure.
