Sol Vin wine fair

Splendidly framed by the Val di Sole, something new is developing, the Sol Vin.

The wine fair is held at Mezzana and is born from the passion for high quality wines and distillates, with the collaboration of a group of young people of the area. The name SOL VIN stems from the words, sol as Val di Sole (location where the show is held) and Vin for wine. Both stem from our local traditional dialect. The objective of the show is to raise cultural awareness for quality wine products. With this show we try to make as many people possible aware that wine and its derivatives can be used also in moderate quantities by choosing quality over quantity.

Since the Val di Sole is the tourism pearl of the Trentino, the choice of exclusively tapping regional company seemed natural to the organization since the purpose is to sensitize the operators so that they use in their businesses wine products from small agricultural businesses.

The first edition of the Sol Vin was held onl 23 May 2009 at the Sports Hall of Mezzana. These first exhibits will be characterized by a continuous change in schedules and exhibit days until we have a clear idea which days are preferred by exhibitors and visitors.

The companies participating are all artisanal, not part of the large-scale retail trade.
