En giro fra le Cort

At Mezzana every year, the wine and food show En giro fra le Cort, happens twice: one Friday in July and one Friday in August.

En giro fra le Cort is an inviting cultural wine and food itinerary. The old cellars and the ancient halls of Mezzana are bathed in a new light hosting the flavors and mysteries of long ago. The Folkloric music frames the show contributing to making it even more evocative of the region.

An excellent opportunity to taste the local cuisine. The dairy products for the most part come from the cows in the pasture: from the ricotta, to the butter, to the milk, to the excellent cheeses amoung which must be remembered the Casolet and the Grana Trentino.

As to the meat, it is pork that is present at the tables for example in the characteristic luganeghe.

The widespread mushrooms abundant in the region are also present on the table, often served with other local products. Local plates, in fact, are polenta with venison and mushrooms and also the potato cakes, the strangolapreti, the canederli, the cheeses and finally the strudel.
